This movie is not for the faint-hearted. The horrific events depicted in this film are actually based on true events. For 5 years, from the year 2000 to 2005, The principal and teachers were sexually abusing children who were deaf-mute. The school was supposed to be a safe haven for disabled children but it became a living hell for the children.
Kang In ho becomes a newly appointed art teacher at the school. He tries his best to reach out to the students and become closer with them but this was not easy. The students seemed very distant and rather full of skepticism.
The students decide to trust In ho and finally start opening up to him but only to find out the ugly truth behind the innocent faces of the children. The students were being sexually abused by the teachers and the principal of the school.
His fight for justice for the children in this movie was the most moving for me. It makes the viewers feel an intense feeling of courage to fight for injustice and to fight for the helpless around us.
